Uncle Thurm's

Decided to try uncle Thurm’s and it was totally worth it. Everyone in the family ended up with full belly’s including the 6 yr old who likes to play the picky card. Will definitely go back for more.

Been a minute since I been there, but it’s never far from my mind. I’ve had several of there dishes and my wife can’t get enough of the , soul food medley. Building is old the recipes are too and that half the greatness this family Jazz dinner is. The gravy too I’ve never had anything like it absolutely amazing, and to hard to explain.

Ever need your mom's comfort food? That meal that just solidifies your current state of mind? I'd just completed a long road trip and I needed a good home cooked meal. Uncle Thurms was recommended to me by my brother and oh man, the deluxe plate had it all. Ribs, fish, greens, sweet potatos, mac n cheese, chicken...yummy. I'll be back!!!

Everything was great! We had the ribs, chicken, greens, mac & cheese, and peach cobbler. Nothing that I wouldn't recommend. Definitely worth a visit for the cobbler alone. Customer service was friendly and personal.

The food was delicious me and my husband have been here a couple of times and they are always pleasant... always come out and greets us and we love this place... the food is always on point hands down my favorite soul food place....

We both had the catfish, red beans and rice and cornbread. The food was delicious. Add the pepper sauce to the fish for extra flavor. The decor is nothing special, but the service was great and we got our meals hot and tasty in a reasonable time.

Awesome food, super friendly. Not fast food. Wonderful cooked food. Had breakfast and we cleaned our plates. Ribs are to die for! Tender, come off the bone like butter. Sauce is one of a kind and soooooooo good. Definitely will be back many more times.

This place is amazing, hands down and legitimately one of the best soul food spots in Washington. Friendly staff as well. This plate was $10!
